The art of prestigious languages

Hi, I’m Marie.

I’m a passionate language teacher with nearly a decade of experience across all key stages. I love inspiring students to grow and discover the joy of learning, especially in modern languages. With organisation, resilience and cross-cultural insight, I create lessons that are engaging, supportive and memorable.

I am originally from Belgium and have always been passionate about languages and culture. Over the past eight years, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor across all key stages, supporting students in achieving their full potential. Alongside my classroom experience, I earned a degree in languages and received a scholarship to complete my PGCE — milestones achieved while balancing studies with raising my family.

Before entering education, I spent nearly nine years in international business as an interpreter and buyer in the high-end jewellery and watch industry. I also ran my own architectural visualisation company, managing operations, clients, and teams across multiple countries. These experiences taught me organisation, adaptability, and how to lead or support effectively — skills I bring into every teaching environment.
